It's the moment we’ve all been waiting for: the return of Celebrity Big Brother.
What’s more, the show has moved to Channel 5. Every night for the next two-and-a-half weeks, host Brian Dowling (he has replaced Davina McCall) will oversee the arrival of the rich and famous at the dazzling new state-of-the-art house which was unveiled at Elstree film studios earlier this week. Dowling will be joined by OK! TV presenters Jenny Frost and Jeff Brazier, who will host a broadcast within the house.
Ratings for the massively popular show are set to soar with “fun and games and cheekiness” high on the agenda. Channel 5 programming boss Jeff Ford says Celebrity Big Brother will give millions of viewers “new and exciting changes”.
As for tonight’s live launch, programme-makers promise a “major twist”. The programme will be followed by spin-off show Big Brother’s Bit On The Side, hosted by former model and TV star Emma Willis.
